Structural metal products manufacturing

Release date:2023-04-15   Page views:

he metal products industry includes the manufacture of structural metal products, the manufacture of metal tools, the manufacture of containers and metal packaging containers, the manufacture of stainless steel and similar household metal products. With the advancement of society and the development of science and technology, the use of metal products in various fields of industry, agriculture and people's life has become more and more extensive, and it has also created more and more value for society.

Process

edit

Metal processing is divided into many different manuals, let us analyze the different processing types in detail. What are the costs and process effects they need?

Casting part

Casting: The metal is heated and melted and then poured into the mold. Suitable for processing complex parts.

Casting classification

Sand casting: low cost, small batch size, can process complex shapes, but may require a lot of post-processing steps.

Investment Casting / Lost Wax Casting: This process has high continuity and precision.

It can also be used to machine complex shapes. It is capable of achieving a perfect surface effect at a relatively low processing cost and is suitable for mass production.

Injection molding method: used to process complex shapes with high errors. Due to the characteristics of the process itself, the product does not require post-treatment after molding, however, the advantage of low cost can only be exhibited in the case of mass production.

Die-casting method: The processing cost is high, and the cost is reasonable only in the case of mass production. However, the cost of the final product is relatively low and the error is relatively high. Can be used to produce parts with thin wall thickness.

Spin casting: an ideal method for machining small parts, usually used in jewelry manufacturing. Rubber models can be used to reduce the cost of processing.

Directional curing: A very strong superalloy with excellent fatigue resistance can be produced into the mold, and then subjected to a strictly controlled heating and cooling process to eliminate any fine flaws.
